Nintendo has no intention of supporting the series (and its small but incredibly dedicated cult following) in the US. (Plus, Shigesato Itoi has gone on record saying he’s not looking to make any more MOTHER games.)</p> <p>It’s a shame too, because (without giving my whole MOTHER spiel) these games are well written, often touching stories about overcoming insurmountable odds through hard work.
